KVKK Privacy Notice

Privacy notice under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.

This is an English translation provided for information. The Turkish version of this notice is the legally binding text under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Data Controller

For the personal data you share through this website, the data controller is Mai Müşavirlik ve Danışmanlık Bürosu.

This notice covers only data collected through the website at https://maimusavirlik.com. Data processed as part of our accounting and tax services, once a service relationship has been established between us, falls outside the scope of this notice.

Personal Data Processed

The site has no user accounts, memberships or shopping. Data is collected only through the two forms you fill in:

  • Contact form: full name, phone number, e-mail address and, if you choose to complete it, the message text. The name, phone and e-mail fields are mandatory; the message field may be left blank.
  • Career application form: full name, phone number, e-mail address, the area that interests you, free text introducing yourself, and the CV file you upload. You decide what information the CV file contains; we do not separately parse the contents of that file.
  • Technical information accompanying the submission: the date and time the form reached us and the address of the page on which you completed it are added to the notification e-mail so that we can understand what your request concerns.

The site contains no analytics, advertising or profiling tool that tracks visitor behaviour; no personal data is therefore collected beyond the above.

Purposes of Processing

  • To assess the request you send via the contact form and to reply to you by phone or e-mail.
  • To understand which service your question concerns so that the right person answers it.
  • To assess your career application and to contact you when a suitable position opens.

The information you share is not used for any other purpose. There is no infrastructure that automatically adds data collected on the site to a newsletter or marketing list.

Legal Basis

Neither form accepts a submission unless the consent box is ticked: if the box is not ticked, the form is rejected and the information you entered never reaches us. Data collected through the website is therefore processed on the basis of the explicit consent you give when submitting the form.

If you wish to withdraw your consent, it is enough to write to us through the application channels set out below. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out up to the date of withdrawal.

Transfer of Personal Data

  • Form contents are sent by e-mail to our corporate e-mail address ([email protected]). The server hosting the site and the provider of the e-mail service are therefore technically in a position to access that message. If the e-mail cannot be delivered because of a fault, the same content is written to a log file on the server so that your request is not lost; that file is also kept only on the server and is not exposed externally.
  • CV files uploaded through the career form are stored on the server in a directory separate from the page files; the file address is not published on any page and is not shared by us with third parties.
  • The site has no integration that transfers your data to another system (customer management software, newsletter service, analytics or advertising tool).
  • The map on the contact page is embedded via Google Maps. When you open the page on which the map appears, your browser connects directly to Google; information you enter in the form is not transmitted to Google through that connection. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

Data Security

The technical measures applied on the site are as follows:

  • Files uploaded to the career form may only be in PDF or Word format and no larger than 5 MB; the file type is checked against both its extension and its content signature.
  • Uploaded files are saved to a directory separate from the page files, under a randomly generated name not derived from the name of the file you sent, and with file permissions readable only by the server. Because directory listing is disabled, the contents of the directory cannot be viewed externally.
  • All fields submitted through the forms are re-validated on the server; incomplete or invalid submissions are not processed.
  • To filter out automated bot submissions, a control field invisible to users is placed in the forms.

Absolute security cannot be claimed for any transmission over the internet. We therefore ask you not to send data such as identity numbers, passwords or bank and card details through the site’s forms.

Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Article 11 of the Law, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is being processed;
  • request information if it has been processed;
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose;
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data has been transferred;
  • request correction where the data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately;
  • request deletion or destruction within the conditions of Article 7 of the Law;
  • request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred;
  • object where an adverse outcome for you arises from analysis carried out solely by automated systems;
  • claim compensation if you suffer loss because of unlawful processing.

How to Apply

You may submit requests concerning the rights above by e-mail to [email protected] or in writing to Yalı Mah. Topselvi Cad. No: 100B, B Blok, İç Kapı No: 36, Kartal / Istanbul. So that we can assess your request, we ask you to state clearly your full name, contact details at which we can reach you, and the subject of your request.

Under the Law, applications are concluded as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. The application procedures set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller are reserved. We try to help with questions you raise by phone, but formal applications must be made through the written channels above.
